• I asked this question and still have yet to understand any of the answers. The posts in the edit posts field look blank. The copy is there, but looks like it’s been coloured white.
It is not showing any text or icons like Bold Underline, etc buttons in the Visual mode or anything in the html mode.
This is what I’ve tried to do so far:
    1. Deactivated all pluggins
    2. Changed theme
    3. Re-upload WordPress 3.4
No matter what I do there is still an empty field where I need to edit text and images that I placed there before I upload 3.4
I have no idea what a child theme is, or for that matter how to change anything on the theme at all, so I didn’t do that, all I did was upload the newest word press and now I can’t get to edit my work. Please advise me on what to do!

  • Seems a bit strange.
Have you tried using a different browser? Could it be that your site is infected with a virus. Perhaps run it past this – http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/scanner/

If that’s not the issue, you might need to hire someone to have a look more closely at your installation and files.

I have the same problem!! Exact same issue as described above. Now i can’t work, great. So it’s clearly not a security of infection, it’s a wordpress issue. Please help.

Got the same problem. Actually post editing appear, but only a blink, then white all over editing frame.

Oh, i know the problem. It’s All in one seo Pack. If you drag in post frame, you’ll find another frame over post frame.

My solution : in screen option, I deactivate the All in one seo pack from viewing. Post editing showed again.

See, I couldn’t even get to screen options, it was like everything was frozen. Then, Like a flippin’ miracle today everything works. Thank you for posting help!
