Can't edit posts
-
Hi – awhile back, all of my posts were deleted on my blog. The comments associated with the blogs are still there supposedly, but the posts were wiped clean.
Today, I upgraded all my plugins, upgraded to the latest version of WordPress, updated all my themes, including the basic ones like Twenty Eleven, and after looking on the forums, I deactivated all plugins and changed my theme to Twenty Eleven because of previous resolved issues on the forums. And I’ve never had the plugin Bulletproof security, so I don’t think that issue – which was resolved for other people is what’s going on with my site.
I’m listed as the Administer of the site, but not only does the post editor word count not move up from 0, no matter how many words are in the post, but also when I try to press save draft, I get the error: “You are not allowed to edit this post.” I should also note that when I was using my blog regularly, I could save and schedule posts as usual, but now my only options as the site Administrator on a new post are “Save Draft” and “Submit for Review,” neither of which make it seem like I actually have control over the site when I am the only listed user of it.
If anyone has experience with this issue, I’ve be greatly appreciative. I don’t have any coding or technical experience with WordPress, but have used it since 2010 without any problems except for the last few months.
If this helps, the site is YABookShelf.com, but again, all the posts were mysteriously deleted (without me making any changes to the backend, plugins, etc, so it’s not very exciting right now.)
