I had a similar issue a few months back, and eventually checked with my hosts. They got back to me and said that their firewall was probably blocking the html content from being saved. They adjusted the setting to be slightly less aggressive and hey presto I was able to save the page.
Before that I tried:
1. disabling all plugins to rule out a conflict
2. disabling all plugins and activating a stock wordpress theme
3. uploading a fresh version of wordpress (except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php file)
Good luck!
Thanks,
My main page isn’t working either and I get this error,
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 56885248) (tried to allocate 235521 bytes) in /homepages/11/d357369587/htdocs/fraleyfoto/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3269
What does this mean?
I deactivated my plugins and that seemed to work. No more error and I’m able to access the page to edit and my main page too.
Thanks!
Looks like you need to increase your memory. Have a look at the following thread and make sure that you backup any file before you make any changes:

Ah ha. Then ignore my last post. You now know that one of your plugins is causing the conflict.
The next step is to reactivate them one by one, and test save each time until you can isolate the conflicting plugin.
Once identified you can check/post on the plugin support board for a solution.
