Nothing like that.
No error messages, no blank pages, no any warning of any sort.
Just not updating any change or editing.
I.E. i have a theme control panel for changing background images, i pick another image and save, the theme confirm the edit made but nothing happens. My blog still display the old image.
One more example.
I edit text in an article, i erase a sentence. I press update and after that i get the usual confirmation for the change made, but the sentence erased is reappeared and so no changes happend. I can delete the whole content but after clicking update button and getting the confirmation with to link to visualize the update page, the deleted content is back exactly as before.

I would try clearing your browser cache
if that doesn’t help, deactivate all plugins
re-activate one by one, testing in between

i’ve already tried to clean up my browser plug in and i have tried to use 3 different browser (firefox, chrome and safari) but it didn’t work out.
Unluckly i neither can’t edit plug ins. If i click deactivate, simply nothing changes, page refreshes and it is still activated.
Any other idea?
