• Hey guys,
I’m very desparated and even Google can’t help me.
I can do what I want in WP backend and drag and drop widgets the way I want. However, the changes are not visible on the front end. Even days ago, after the tenth refresh, reboot or whatever.
I hope somebody can help me here.
    Cheers

  • Is your theme widget-capable?

I think it is. I was able to use them properly. Tbh: I can install whatever theme I want and can’t change widgets!

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the memory available to PHP?

    hey man, thank you.
i don’t know what exactly solved it but i deleted some plugin folders where i’m unsure if they work properly and now it’s all right again!
    thanks!

That worked for me, too. Thanks!
