Hello, not sure, maybe due to incompatibility with some of your plugins or Theme?
– try to disable all plugins, and also to switch theme to a standard WordPress theme if that helps.
What is the website URL you have issues with?

i don’t think its due to incompatibility. When the plugin is activated to maintenance mode, i cant preview changes i’ve made to a page and when its off, the preview works fine

Hi Ales,
The problem is that the CMP plugin is locking me out of previewing changes i’m making on the backend before i publish. This should not happen as its only supposed to show site under maintenance to visitors to the site. This has forced me to keep disabling the plugin when i want to preview the changes then i enable as the site is still not ready to outside visitors.
I used the same plugin before with a countdown timer and it worked fine. Looks like the updates over the year have created this problem. I’m not sure anyone else has this problem though

OK, to clarify – are you trying to preview changes of the CMP itself via preview mode, or drafts of your WordPress posts/pages?
– do you use any page builders or standard WordPress editor?
Sorry for these questions, I am trying to set up same scenario as you have but so far everything worked fine at my end..
Im trying to preview changes to my WordPress pages and posts.
I’m using WP Bakery Page Builder which comes bundled with the theme im using.

I’ve just tried with WP Bakery Page Builder 5.7 and drafts page preview works as expected. I am worried it might be related to you Theme you are using..

Its working fine now, dont know what the problem was before.
I was also having a problem with the WordPress Media Library not displaying uploaded photos but after changing the permissions for that folder, the two problems have been solved. I don’t know how they connect but problem solved.

I almost fainted looking at your name, i thought i was writing to myself or i was hacked. We have the same name!!
Anyway, i think the plugin is somehow getting conflicted with other setting but am not sure how. Hopefully you’ll get help.

Yes I hope I get help soon – in previous launches I definitely remember being able to make edits and see the pages before taking down the Coming Soon page.
I will fiddle with plugins to see if anything helps…

Hello @jscarlett, try switching a Theme if that’s possible – I believe it might be Theme related issue.
Unfortunately I cannot investigate, since the drafts previews are not publicly visible.
