What is the exact error message you are receiving? Are the files any bigger than others you had previously uploaded?
The files are the same size as previous ones I’ve successfully uploaded.
Here’s what happens:
1. The file looks like it is loaded, as the completion bar continues to move.
2. The file disappears and its name and HTTP error is posted under the file’s name in the top right corner where it would show had it properly loaded.
I’m sorry, I called it HTML error earlier–my mistake.
Does this information help? Thanks.
Hi, I have the same problem! In upload image wrote “Error try later”, everytime. I see on internet a lot of people have the same problem after download WP 4.5. Anyone can what to do?
I have seen some issues with both plugins and hosting providers after the latest update. There are a few things you can try in this situation:
- Try deactivating all of your Plugins to see if it is a Plugin issue.
- Switch the Theme to the WordPress Twenty Fifteen Theme to eliminate any Theme-related problems.
- Increase the PHP Memory limit
Let me know if any of those options work for you. Maybe that will help us narrow down the problem.
Paolo: if these do not work for you, please start your own thread so we can focus on the specifics of your site and setup.
Thanks. I’ve changed our theme and now I’m able to upload pictures again. Although I’d prefer the other layout, I’ll give it up to get the photographs on.
You’re welcome! I’m glad to hear you are able to upload again, even if it is with a different theme. You could try contacting the theme developer know and see if they have a fix in the works or at least know about the issue. If that were the case, maybe you would be able to switch back to your original theme after it was updated and working again.
