Trying to get installation working on http://www.intatrade.com

    Theme TwentyEleven
    Dashboard: Appearance: Header:
Choose Image from computer > browse to file > click upload.

    Error message

“The uploaded file could not be moved to D:\inetpub\vhosts\intatrade.com\httpdocs/wp-content/uploads”

What is causing this error message to concasternate “PC root drive” with “\httpdocs\….” on server ?

Are you sure this references your computer’s “D:\” drive? If your server is running Windows it could have a “D:\” drive as well. And the fact that that path includes with “inetpub” suggests that you have an IIS server, which indicates Windows.

Ah, you mean Hostnexus (my hosting Co) is using windows platform with d:\ directory.

Is there a solution to my problem? Like the mix of forward and backward slashes “/” “\”?

It looks that way, but you will need to verify it.

It sounds like a permissions problem, but I can’t really help with a Windows server. I avoid them like the plague.

Where can I turn for support ?

    Your host.

Ask for a Linux server if they have them. You will happy you did. Seriously.

Otherwise explain your problem and see what they can do.

    Hi,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Would you please try now, I have reassigned the necessary permissions.
