Cannot see anything

Have tried embedding google group in page and widget but cannot see anything. What group name must I use and presumably I must somehow link it to my google account?
Best

Hello Spinnekop, you can insert group name in configuration page,
for example if you want to see group
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/comp.sys.ibm.as400.misc
you want insert only name comp.sys.ibm.as400.misc see screenshot ..
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8B1V5PwB8NjOHMyeEgzX1IxNzQ/edit?usp=sharingif use shortcode you must use this:
[sz-ggroups name=”adsense-api” height=”1200″/]
Hello Massimo
I did exactly as you said but no luck.
The name of the group is church-matters
I put that into the config page.
I pasted the shortcode exactly as above and I just get a blank
For information. I am also using Google Calendar events.
Would that cause a problem?
It also doesn’t work if I cut and past the code from google groups.
I tried odyno gGroups and that one worked though….
Pauli also tried your google calendar embed and that worked fine
I tried the group you listed on a page of a web site with the latest version of the plugin installed and I have seen no problems, look here:
https://wpitalyplus.com/sz-google/google-groups/
At this point I think there might be a conflict with other plugins, could you give me the list of plugins you use, or the URL address of the web page that you do not receive the group, so I can read the HTML
I think it might be a firefox problem.
I tried it in chrome and it works fine on notebook and mobile.
In firefox it works on neither notebook nor mobile. even with add-ons disabled….sorry to imply it was your add-on that was a problem!!
Yes the problem is with firefox, I now see to find a solution to the problem, we update as soon as possible.
Hi Massimo
The problem seems to do with iframe and firefox.
If I put in this code
<iframe id=”forum_embed” src=”https://groups.google.com/forum/embed/?place=forum/church-matters#!forum/church-matters” scrolling=”no” frameborder=”0″ width=”100%” height=”700″></iframe>it works in chrome but not firefox.
Hi Massimo
This explains it but the solution at the end didn’t work for me!
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18373592/iframe-contents-cant-appear-in-firefoxI think I found a solution I update you as soon as possible
https://wpitalyplus.com/sz-google/google-groups/I tried to improve the situation of firefox with version 1.6.9
Comments work, but embedded posts do not seem to work at all. Perhaps it’s a browser issue, but if so, then this plug-in won’t work for me – and that’s a shame, because it seems excellent.
Ahh, discovered something, I think – the newer Google+ “vanity urls” don’t work. I had to go back and use the numeric profile ID. This isn’t ideal, but I did get it to work – even under FireFox.
106409227872777906492 works, but +HollyJahangiri does not work in its place. 🙁
Hello, the shortcode for the calendar isnt working,,, what am I doing wrong.. ive pasted it in the html and view tabs, nothing seems to work..
Any progress on fixing this Firefox issue? Groups still do not work. Not even in your demo.
