@dsafety – Have you looked into what Chrome extensions you have active? It’s a rarity but Chrome is used extensively for testing so this may not necessarily be browser related.
Have you also checked for plugin conflicts?

The problem remains even if all Chrome extensions are disabled.
I know that there are likely some plugin conflicts that remain. You may recall that I had to create a work-around last week to get Gallery and Tabby to play nicely together but that problem appeared in both browsers.
For now, the work around is to use IE when I want to add or edit a gallery. I can live with this but you, as the developer should be concerned that this problem exists.
If you come up with any ideas, please let me know.
@dsafety – I am concerned there could be an underlying issue within NextGEN Gallery but as you noted you created a work-around for one condition and there could still be additional conflicts that may exist (and hopefully have not been added).
For the most part, a generic modification to our code related to that message has been added and will be included in our next major release (2.0.67+)
