OK, im accessing the folders via FTP. The meta folder is empty. Could it be the file labeled user-edit.php?
found everything you mentioned. Changed the meta value for wp_capabilities but received an error: “update command denied for user…”
also very strange, in the updates dashboard it says that I have the latest version of wordpress installed and it just checked. However, just below that it has a link to learn more about wordpress 3.8.3
I’m thinking that this must mean that I don’t have the latest version installed.
speaking with network solutions and they say that if I’ve used their hosting package to install wordpress I need to remain on 3.5! Network solutions support claims that my blog will be perfectly safe. Does this make sense?
