    Rename the plugins/bp-community-blogs using FTP.

    FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides), navigate to the plugins folder and rename bp-community-blogs to bp-community-blogsx

    Many thanks Esmi – after much deliberation I have done it! I nearly fell off my chair!
    Now, instead of jumping out the window I will take the dog for a walk!
    You have saved my life – eternally grateful.

    p.s. easy when you know how!
    If it happens again do I just put another letter after the other one – e.g. put y instead of x or put y and leave the x?

    Glad to hear that you managed it. Have you reactivated the plugin? If so, just remove the extra ‘x’ if the problem re-occurs.
