cannot log into admin panel-receiving warning message

I cannot see my site nor can I log into my admin panel. I have WP 2.8 and easily installed it but something is wrong and I do not know what it is. I am not extremely tech-savy but I welcome any suggestions you can think of to resolve this issue. The warning I’ve received is:
