• Hi there!

I just upgraded to the latest wordpress versionand installed the inovo theme which I like a lot.

After everything went as smooth as possible I’ve got a problem with the sidebar. At the top of the sidebar there is the rss feed button which I actually never selected but which doesn’t really bother me and which could stay.

This screenshot shows which of the widgets I activated:

Below the “links” section on my blog there are some sections that I never activated and that usually dont even exist like that. For example there is a section that combines the Blogroll and Categories in one. There also is the Archives section which I deactivated. But see yourself: http://www.amarquardt.de

What can I do to get rid of those two widgets?

    Thank you very much!

  • Those two widgets claim to be in the ‘east’ and ‘west’ sidebars so I can only assume that there is some hard-coded fallback content that activates when nothing is in those sidebars. If you put a widget in the ‘east’ and ‘west’ sidebars does that widget replace the ones there right now? If it does you’ll probably have to edit the theme to get rid of that content, or maybe just put a couple of empty text widgets in there.

You are great! It is indeed some weird fallback if these sections are left empty
