Cannot create a child theme

Hello everyone,

I found the following support thread (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cannot-create-child-theme?replies=10), but it was not resolved. No one seemed to be able to create a child theme as the way suggested resulted in a blank screen when the child theme was activated.

I’ve tried to create a child theme with two different plugins and all I get upon activation was a blank white screen.

Has anyone here created a child theme successfully with Hathor?
