• Hi – Apparently my client hasn’t been getting emails to their business accounts. The email was obscured by cleantalk but when you click on the link, a popup would show up saying “cannot connect unknown error”. I turned it off and emails are working again. This apparently has been going on for quite some time (they primarily use their gmail for communications). I’d like to turn cleantalk back on to block woocommerce spam orders. But even though I turned off everything except Woo settings, the blurred cleantalk thing showed up over email. Thanks

    We’re sorry you’re experiencing this issue.
    To disable email encryption, you need only disable the “Encode contact data” option in the Anti-Spam plugin settings. You can find it in the Advanced settings:

    Go to WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Antispam by CleanTalk —> Click the Advanced settings link —> Find the “Contact Data Encoding” section —> set the option “Encode contact data” to “Off” —> Save Changes.

    Please do not forget to clear the website cache after that.
