Cannot Access WP backend — password not recognized

I cannot get into my WP as my password

and

my e-mail are suddenly not recognized.

I tried going mySQL and doing a password edit, but that didn’t work either.

I tried to go into the config file, but I think I just made matters worse.

I use this site for my math classes and I am in real troubles now.

Can I do a re-install and use the same database so I don’t lose things?
