can I put widget items in post?

    say I want to put a widget item in a post. Like a twitter feed, or the archive, or any other item that will usually end up in the sidebar. Is there a way to do that?

    PS: alternatively, how to I call specific widget items via PHP, if that is possible.

    why don’t you use certain plugins that will enable you to put those feeds onto your post?

    Sexy Bookmarks or AddToAny is quite comprehensive.. not only it has twitter.. it has many other social media that can be shared such as Facebook too.. it will appear below of your post.

    But I guess I was not clear in my question. What I want is to be able to move the functionality of a tool like Wickett Twitter Widget, which displays the Twitter latest updates from a Twitter user inside your theme’s widgets, to a post.

    To be very specific. I would like to have a sticky post that’s contents are a twitter feed. So every time the post is loaded the contents will be updated to the latest 5 or 10 tweets form my twitter account.
