Cache issue?

    I’m running WP 2.02. The problem I’m having is that changes to my sidebar are not being reflected in the site. That is, I’ve edited the sidebar.php file, uploaded it, but the old sidebar still appears. Even if I clear the browser cache and then reload, the old sidebar still appears. I had wp-cache running before but deactivated it–and am still seeing the same problem.

    Any ideas? The site is http://www.aventureforth.com.

    this one is quite the mind-stumper…

    i know this might be a really silly question – but are you SURE you’re doing the proper sidebar file – like, in the right theme?

    can you try making the changes from presentation -> theme editor and see if that works?

    Found the problem. It looks like wp-cache was still running, even though it had been deactivated.

    To fix, I reactivated the plugin and then disabled it (from options | wp-cache) and THEN deactivated it. Now, caching seems to be off and the site is working as expected.
