by ID and not by date

    Hi there,

    I’ve this situation:

    I’m preview some themes on my site and several themes show the post by ID and others by date!

    How can i solve the problem?

    Are you running the latest version of WordPress?

    Also, themes can indeed change the order of the posts.

    But there’s also a bug in newer versions of MySQL that will a theme using “get_posts” instead of the correct Loop structure to order by post ID. This bug is fixed in later versions of MySQL. Complain to your host that they need to upgrade MySQL. Tell them to come here if they need more info, we’ll be happy to explain.
