Hi. I will continue this conversation because I have a similar situation.

I am creating a post that will display information and a registration form for members of our club to register for an event.

Currently, the member would print off the info, fill out the form and send to the event registrar by mail. That worked in 1990. I would like to update that process.

I currently have a interactive form created using ‘Contact Form 7’ which is accessed using a shortcode. I have placed a button created using ‘Buttons Shortcode and Widgets’ at the bottom of the post for the member to click on to bring up the ‘online’ form. There they can fill the form out and click on the ‘Send’ button at the bottom which will email the contents to the registrar.

To do this, I have to create a page with only the ‘Contact Form 7’ shortcode and place a link (href=”…”) in the logic for the registration button to call this page. I would like to avoid creating the extra page(s) for the form shortcode, and embed the form shortcode in the logic for the button itself.

Is that possible? How would I do this?

    Thanks… Tom.
