To support multi-language, BP Profile Search requires BuddyPress Multilingual, and I think that BuddyPress Multilingual requires WPML String Translation. Could you double check that?

requirements:

WPML 3.0.x or higher. You must enable ‘languages per directories’ or ‘languages per domain’.
Supports BuddyPress versions up to 2.x

If you deactivate WPML String Translation, does BuddyPress Multilingual work? Please deactivate BP Profile Search too, to avoid any interference, and see whether BuddyPress profile fields are correctly translated.

BuddyPress Multilingual work – Yes. I activate WPML String Translation only for generate PO mo files and then I disable it bc it is very slow down my site.

On my installation when I visit a member’s profile page I can’t switch between languages and the profile fields are not translated, if WPML String Translation is not active.

Can you confirm that, in a member’s profile page, you can switch between languages and the profile fields are translated, when WPML String Translation is not active? If so, I’ll have to contact WPML support. Please let me know!

Yes, ofc it work fine without string translation.

BP Profile Search 4.7.4 should fix these issues, please let me know if something is missing. Thanks for letting me test the changes on your site!
