bug at post previews

    Hi there, after installing addthis share buttons I noticed a bug at my front/home page at the posts preview area.

    It shows this text before the actual text of the post previews. “<!– AddThis Sharing Buttons above –>”

    Here is a link to my webpage…

    Scroll down at the home page and there will be 3 previews of posts at the bottom of the page, there you will see the bug.

    How can I fix that (besides of course removing the sharing buttons)

    Hi there,

    Sorry for the delayed reply, as we were off for the New Year’s weekend. I went to your site to investigate the issue further, but it looks like you’ve deactivated the plugin. It sounds like it could be a theme issue, but if you reactivate the plugin, I can take a closer look.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reactivating the plugin so that we could investigate further. I looked this over with our plugin developers and found that this is an issue with the theme that you’re using. The theme you’re using is escaping the HTML comment:
    <!– AddThis Sharing Buttons above –>

    and turning it into:
    <!– AddThis Sharing Buttons above –>`

    Unfortunately, we don’t currently have any sort of workaround for this theme issue.
