Just recently out of no where I noticed the browser tab text on the homepage of my site is pulling the title from a blog post displayed on that page… and not the page title.

I am not sure what to do, I have tried caching the site, updating the snippit order… any suggestions?

Hi @lacylouloo!

We would like some more information.

1. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

2. Can you let us know what the page title is expected to be AND where you may have configured the title? Screenshots would be helpful. You can use a tool like: https://imgbb.com/ to share the image.

3. If you go to settings-reading is it set to Static Page or Latest Posts?

Hay hay,

1.All of my themes and plugins are up to date

2. The page title should be: Breast Cancer Marathon
— Its showing up as: City Of Jacksonville Proclaims Feb 12 – 14 DONNA Virtual Marathon Weekend (blog post title)
— I have the site tile configured under the general settings as well as in the snippit for each page

If you use the Yoast Helper Tool does the issue resolve? Please try the steps below:
– i. Install & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/yoast-test-helper/
– ii. Go to Tools -> Yoast Test
– iii. Locate the Yoast SEO section and select the “Reset indexables tables & migrations” button
– iv. Click the “SEO Data” button in the SEO->Tools section.
