Browser detection snippet

    I’ve got a problem using this snippet. My guess is that it isn’t the snippets fault though. Anyways, the problem is that the returned classes tend to be wrong (from time to time), and they even vary between different pages of my site. For example FF3.1 and IE8 both yield “msie ie7 ie” when on the home page but “unknown-os unknown-browser unknown” at any other page.

    Any guesses?
