By “breaks”, the Visual Composer editor window is not visible, and the drop-down to expand it does nothing. With this plugin deactivated, it is visible and works normally.
Could you please tell me more information about the conflict problem like plugin link, error message that is getting, whether it is already reported anywhere etc. so that I can troubleshoot it?
If its the same Premium Plugin that I think this is on Theme Forest…..I don’t have that plugin to test against….If the Dev wants to send me a license I can have something to test with.
I have noticed this exact same problem…. the jobs page is severely mangled, and does not work, and my theme uses visual composer as well. I can get you a copy of the visual composer plugin, or i can give you access to my dev server to play with a live site with it integrated. which would be more preferable to you?
Have you tried switching to twenty twelve theme (with job manager enabled) and checking if the same occurs? There is no intentional blocking of any scripts in our plugin.
Additionally you might try a Google Search for (Visual Composer breaks with wordpress plugin).
As an update notice: We have reached out to the Visual Composer Team for assistance and a possible Dev Copy to test with. Will update when we have more to report.

No Visual Composer and Job Manager do not work together.
Can you fix the plugin so that it works with Visual Composer? It’s one of the most widely used drag/drop page builders out there, and is also included in hundreds of premium themes.

It’s on the list but to tell you the truth it is way down on the bottom of the list. Builder themes are the ones that seem to to have the issue. I have not had one dev commit to working with us to fix this. They make money on their PAID Builder themes/plugins while JM is free. Do the Math.

Gotcha, no worries. If I can find the time I’ll def look into seeing what the problem is and how to fix it.
It’s just weird because no other plugin I’ve ever used, and I’ve used a lot, has problems with it, so there must be something very different about it’s implementation. 🙂
