Before i can help any further you’ll need to test if the problem is present without plugins enabled or using the default theme, once you’ve tested if those work we can move onto other things.
I’d guess at it being a theme specific issue, and if that’s the case i’d need to know where to download the theme you use so i can look at the code.

so i changed the theme to back the basic one and it works fine so it must be a theme problem, i am trying to get it to work with my old theme any advice?
Have you modified the theme, or is the theme as it was when you purchased or downloaded it?
If it’s a downloadable theme, can you provide the URL so i can download a copy to look at, short of that it’s a best guess on my part.
