What are the permissions on the wordpress files? A 403 isn’t a WordPress error, that’s a server error that won’t let you list the directory, IIRC.

Are you sure you’re pointing to the right URL? Did you perhaps install WP in a subfolder?

    Hey, ipstenu…

Thanks for the reply – I’m still trying to figure it out. I checked the permissions, and all permissions are checked ‘yes’.

WP is installed in a subfolder called ‘blog’ – which is the way the ISP recommended it be installed.

    Does that require some modification?

    Again, thanks for the help!

Okay, what URL are you going to? http://domain.com or http://domain.com/blog?

If you’re going to http://domain.com/blog then try this: http://domain.com/blog/index.php

It MIGHT be that your host doesn’t default allow index.php as an index file. Usually that can be fixed with .htaccess, but let’s see if this works first 🙂

Hi, i have the same issue.

    http://www.rootdomain.com <– wordpress #1 working fine
http://www.rootdomain.com/blog/ <– wordpress #2 working fine, blog can be seen but cannot login as admin. I tried resetting password but not helping.

vinlim – Are these separate blogs or are you using MultiSite?

Also, please note that mchuston has a 403 error – If YOU are having that error, stick around. If not, please open a new ticket with the details of your install 🙂

Thx ipstenu. itz fix now. 🙂
