Do you want a text or image header?
Can you show me the page you want the header on?
Make sure that any changes like this are made in a Child Theme:

Do not modify theme files directly — they will be overwritten and lost when your theme is updated.
Do you have a page.php file in your theme that can be accessed via appearance> editor>?
yes but I’m having an issue making my child theme. I don’t know how to make a new directory in my FTP.
You can do that on your local computer and then upload the new folder and the new stylesheet.
I don’t think you need to make a child theme.
You should be able to fix this via admin panel and no core files need to be touched.
YOEBO – we do not recommend that people modify theme files either — please do not encourage that. Down the road it creates many problems when their changes are lost.
WPyogi – What changes can be lost by editing a child theme?
financialfergy – I’m pretty sure you don’t have to create another child theme to achieve what you’re trying to accomplish.
He does not have a child theme on that site.
How can I create a child theme? I don’t know how to access my FTP on my computer
financialfergy – I would suggest that you visit Responsive theme’s dedicated support here:
http://themeid.com/help/
They are really helpful and there is a free child theme you can download there.
@yoebo – we appreciate any help on these forums, please just remember that inexperienced people can easily get into a big mess down the road if they make changes to theme files. As I’m sure you can understand, it’s really unfortunate to have someone come here and say, “I updated my theme and lost a ton of work — and someone here told me to do it that way.”
