Blog Disappeared

I am an professor who was using WordPress for an online journalism class. Up until last night, that is. At that time, I received the following message when trying to use the “user friendly” URL:

“The website you were trying to reach is temporarily unavailable. Please check back soon. If you are the owner of this website, please contact Technical Support as soon as possible.”

Problem is, a student in the previous class constructed the blog and is no longer reachable. I was a site admin., but never got the original URL. Therefore, I can’t even offer that address as a starting point for recovery. Is there way to relocate this blog and regain access? the user friendly URL was: thearrowheadnews.com, and the site name was The Arrowhead News Online.
