Some how wp-config.php file is deleted from server. Please check once the root files once.
Thanks for responding, but I have no idea what you mean or where to look. Can you be more specific?
@tsandilands; wprock is wrong; ignore him. You still have a wp-config.php file, but it may have been changed by the web host.
What you need to do is ask your web host carrierzone.com what happened and if they can restore a backup. Somehow, WP was reinstalled as a blank site. Your posts and all content should still be in another database, and WP needs to be pointed to that database in order to show that content. So ask carrierzone.com about a backup restore.
Thanks. I did go to my website and try to restore a backup from some time ago but it didn’t change anything. I previously asked my website hosting provider something and they said they didn’t support wordpress althugh it was connected to my website. I can try them again but don’t think I’ll get much more from them than that.
Sorry to be really stupid but what is carrierzone.com? I googled it and it seems to be a website abuse watchdog, what do they have to do with WordPress?
carrierzone.com resolves in DNS as your webhost; if that’s not who you’re talking to, they’re buying web space and reselling it. Who claims to be your web host?
I host with deluxeforbusiness.com. Used to be called aplus.com.
How did you try and restore your own backup? Did you have a full database backup? That’s where the content is.
If not, you need to talk to your host and get them to restore a full site backup. Hopefully the database is still in a backup somewhere at the host.
Thanks. I’ll try to contact them. There is an option on the website editor that says “Restore from backup” and a list of backup dates, so I selected one from a while back when I know the blog was working. It loaded for a while but when I published it the blog was still not there.
I appreciate the help.
