• Hi, just installed WordPress, where is by default W3 Total Cache pugin installed. Problem is that this plugin is blocking Java (I think) on any theme, template I want to install… For example: sliders are not moving, text effects not working, etc.

Everything works fine, only with W3 total cache deactivated.

    Any solutions, settings please?

    THANK YOU!

    PS: sorry for my english..

  • You are probably minifying JavaScript. Try turning minify off for it.

I turned off minifying – everything works fine in Firefox, but not in Safari: for example search bar ,,freezes,, or dissapear on some pages…
Maybe need to wait some time ater turning minify off to take effect?

    Anyway,
when I want to set back default WP theme everything crushed and content is gone. In FTP I try to rename theme first, then delete, but takes no effects..

Nevermind, need to find something else, THX anyway!

That’s a rather odd issue as the plugin has not done that for me even on the default themes. No problem though I recommend using Super Cache and Auto optimize as a replacement.

Keep in mind despite the Auto optimize name it can be a monster and still requires a lot of work. Follow the documentation and follow the best practices.

I am having a small page, with minimum content, so do I realy need this plugin?

If its a simple website with little to no content it might not even need W3TC and instead run WP Super Cache

    Ok, THX!
