• Hi Twenty Twenty-Two Theme Folks,
Could you please explain the purpose/usage of Block Patterns, which are created and located here: Appearance > Block Patterns. I’ve created a Block Pattern Post at this location (calling it “My Test Block Pattern”), but when I search for it from a standard Page/Post (using the Block Inserter > Patterns Tab), I cannot find it. Any guidance/reference to documentation would be much appreciated.
    Best Regards,
    Matthew Huntley

  • When you go to add a block , select the patterns tab, then select ‘my patterns.’ The pattern you made will be there.

    Hi @tracyrosen,
Thanks for the prompt response. However, I’m still not able to see the Block Patterns created at Appearance > Block Patterns in the “My Patterns” folder. Additionally, I noticed the “My Patterns” folder does not exist unless Patterns have been created at Appearance > Editor > Patterns (or Patterns created directly from a Page/Post).
I’m still confused about where the Block Patterns created at Appearance > Block Patterns come into play and how they can be leveraged on the site.
Is there a syncing step that needs to be done in between publishing a Block Pattern from Appearance > Block Patterns and being able to call said Pattern while building a Page/Post?
    Thanks again,
    Matthew Huntley
