block own comments from simple recent comments plugin

hi everyone,
i’ve been using the ‘simple recent comments‘ plugin for ages now and love it – but i was wondering if anyone knows of any way to exclude my own comments from coming up on it? i find that, because i reply to everything it often just fills up with my comments and i would rather it show just everyone elses…
i have absolutely no idea how to do this and don’t even know if it’s possible, but if anyone could figure it out for me i’d be eternally greatful!
