Hello,

I’ve installed clef on WP 4.1 (latest version) and when using Chrome (my default browser and also the latest version) I don’t see the Clef Code (the blue moving lines that I am supposed to scan). The box where it is supposed to appear is simply blank. The page loads just fine though – only clef doesn’t load. This issue is only on Chrome, when I tried using IE everything worked as it is supposed to.

Things I’ve tried so far

– Tried through incognito window
– Tried with IE (it works)
– Cleared my cache (browser, server, and disabled temporarily CloudFlare)
– Disabled all WP Plugins

When I look in the source code of the login page I see this class added to Clef’s container – priority_psa_not_processed

Anybody else has or has had this issue? Thanks in advance to anyone that helps out. Appreciate it!

This is very strange — it doesn’t work in incognito mode? Can you check if you have any Chrome Extensions enabled in Incognito Mode?

Can you also open up the JavaScript console and see if there are any errors?

I think i’m having the same issue, and right clicking the box where its supposed to be and opening it in a new tab in your browser seems to work…

@jeese – I checked whether I have enabled any extensions in incognito mode and I haven’t. The JS console doesn’t give any errors.

@harriart – I just installed Firefox to see whether it works, but it doesn’t.

@jesse – I am running my website on a Linode VPS and I’ve installed Nginx, MySQL, and HHVM for PHP. Perhaps the HHVM is the problem. I am going to try and switch back to PHP-FPM and see if that fixes the issue.

Edit: No it doesn’t.

Edit2: Chrome dev.tools doesn’t give any errors however IE’s dev.tools does contain the following

Problem Solved

I have installed Google’s Pagespeed extension for Nginx and I had activated the defer_javascript module which was causing the problem. Now that I’ve disabled it everything seems to be working good.
