• Okay so my blog has been running perfectly for over a week and for some reason today its half dead.
I have full access to the Admin sections and can view all of them but when going to my site its a completely white screen….

I tried switching between templates from the default that has been running since I installed the program to no avail. I cant imagine what could have happened … maybe I got hacked?
    Anyone have any ideas?
I appreciate your thoughts and time…
Note:Just thought I should add that my rss feed is not working either.

  • Your host may have moved your files and caused the error.

Check that all your files are present and correctly sized in each directory – check for files with a size of zero.

What was the last thing you did to the blog ?

Well I dumped three templates in about two hours ago and then viewed them … then set the site back to default so I could work on an rss dispay page within my main website. I noticed the problem when I went to view the page and nothing was coming up. I quickly realized it was because there was nothing there lol.

I will go check what you said … I never imagined that the host would screw with my files.
Thanks for the tip I will let ya know if that was the problem.

It looks like the index.php is now 95bytes instead of 1kb
and a few others are slightly smaller, but none have gone to zero.

Do you think thats the problem, I suppose I will have to reinstall huh?

Those amounts don’t matter – that’ll be how the ftp client displays them.

Plugin problem ? Tried deactivating any ?

If you are running WP2, delete the /wp-content/cache directory and see if that helps.

I deleted the cach … still have the same problem. I noticed though that there was an index.php with a zero k file size. Not sure if that means anything being that its in the cach.

Strange problem this … maybe I should just delete and reinstall?
