I implemented the plugin on my site but got into a redirection loop as my server had a shared certificate.

managed to login using FTP and rename the plugin directory, and edit the .htaccess and wp-config files as suggested…nothing worked.

when I go to any subpage (including the login pages to access the wordpress settings) I get the following (I changed the actual names of the site and server)

    <META HTTP-EQUIV=”Refresh” CONTENT=”0;URL=http://example.com/login/”><h1>VIEW TEMPORARY SITE</h1>

There is no way that I’ve found to stop the forced redirection.

If you edited the .htaccess file, reset the siteurl and homeurl with update statements, and renamed the plugin, there’s nothing the plugin can do anymore. What could happen is that your browser has cached the error page. Try to delete the history in your browser, or use a different browser.

You can also send me some details by email, so I can check your site myself.

For the record: this seems to have been caused by another plugin, or a plugin conflict. Removing an .htaccess file with errors seems to have solved the problem.
