I use photostack and love its simplicity.
If you can wait awhile, I would use ZenPhoto.

It would seem that you’re not closing the tags.
I also use Photostack, it’s very nice, and a small lightweight gallery. Next release should support subalbums too, which would be nice.
If you want to integrate with your site, I would suggest Gallery2 (latest snapshot build) coupled with the wpg2 plugin which can be found here

mesmes, when it says to put code in between backticks, that is to actually display it. Just link as you normally would if you want to have a link or want to emphasize something 🙂
