Best method to redirect 301

I have moved my blog http:yahooallinone.com to http://www.yaio.net and I redirected 301 by adding Redirect 301 / http://www.newblog.com/ to .htaccess file

but somewhere I read that add following line to .htaccess file to maintain SEO

RedirectMatch permanent (.*) http://new-doamin.com$1

So my question is what is the best option? or Is it possible to add both line?
