Do I need to go into the area where the codes are to fix this? If so, I’m so new that I will need help to do that. I see the word title in some of the code and also the Line 2 but have no idea what to change to make it show the way I want it to. I see others who use the theme with the tag line under their title . .
Thanks for any help you can give this newbie!
Where did you get that theme from? These forums only support themes from the repository on this site, so you may want to contact the developer for theme-specific questions.
It’s on the WordPress site
There is no theme called Balloon or Balloons on http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/ We only support themes from that repository.
Looks like a self-hosted site to me. Possibly a recent(ish) guided transfer from wordpress.com.
http://balloonsdemo.wordpress.com/
this theme shows so much more that’s not showing up on mine
Was your site originally on wordpress.com?
I’m sure it was, I think . . so new to this . . . I know I originally found the balloon theme on here . . . should i reload from here?
When I tried to activate it, I don’t have a site showing on WordPress to activate it to . ..
I think I’m confused now . . .
That theme may not be available outside of wordpress.com. Did you pay extra to use it?
No, it was a free theme . . . I want to activate it through WordPress since I see the Balloons Theme with the tagline showing on it and not on mine.
When i go to activate, it asks to ‘choose site’ . . nothing is in the drop down window so I can’t choose my blog so therefore cannot activate theme . . .
To have stepped into the blogging world and gotten stuck on a tagline, has been very frustrating just starting out . . . I’m almost afraid to step into the other categories, widgets, etc. for fear of what will happen there . . .
I’m pretty tech savvy and graphically adept . . . and this has been such a struggle . . .
