I have been using your plug in successfully for months and just realized it is no longer working as of March 22nd (my last successful scheduled backup)

I tried manually backing up to download to my computer. I first get this message:
Warning: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, boolean given in /home/joyful23/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wponlinebackup/wponlinebackup.php on line 829

    [above repeats twice]

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/joyful23/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wponlinebackup/wponlinebackup.php:829) in /home/joyful23/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 876

Then it will try to do the backup manually and I get two errors: Backup failed to initialise and then this:

    A database operation failed.
Please try reinstalling the plugin – in most cases this will repair the database.
Please contact support if the issue persists, providing the complete event log for the activity. Diagnostic information follows:

    Failed at: 1355(/home/joyful23/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wponlinebackup/include/bootstrap.php)
WPDB error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ” at line 1. Last query: DELETE a, e FROM wp_wponlinebackup_activity_log a LEFT JOIN wp_wponlinebackup_event_log e ON (e.activity_id = a.activity_id) WHERE a.start <

My scheduled backups are no longer listed as “scheduled” and each time I try to start them up again by completing the form in the schedule tab, I click Apply Schedule, the page loads, but nothing “sticks”. I still get the same form saying “schedule backup” over and over.

On my overview page I have this warning:
Warning: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, boolean given in /home/joyful23/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wponlinebackup/wponlinebackup.php on line 829

Last thing, on my Online Backup Settings tab, I get this message:
The plugin is not currently connected to our secure online vault, therefore Online Backup is not currently available.
To be able to use our online service you will need to register for a FREE account at https://wordpress.backup-technology.com/Create_Account, and provide your username and password to the plugin below. Should you then lose your entire WordPress website you can then download your data from our website.

I have tried entering my username and password that logs me onto your site. It isn’t working (though I can log into my account so presumably I am using the right UN/PW). I also tried using my restore password instead of my login password and that didn’t work either.

I have tried deactivating and activating the plug in and that didn’t help. I have not installed any new plug ins since March 22, which is the last date this worked.

Thanks so much for your help!

    Hello,

Just a quick update. Last night my scheduled backup attempted to run. It failed and said: The backup failed: The backup is larger than your complete quota on the online vault. It cannot be stored. Please reduce the backup size by excluding something – it is currently 144.73 MiB in size.

For some reason, the errors I was getting yesterday (listed above) seem to have resolved (yay!). I am not seeing the warnings, my Online backup settings seem to be connected, etc.

So I was able to perform a manual backup (which i couldn’t last night) and download it to my computer. What appears not to be working are the automatic backups, presumably b/c my file size is too large.

I was under the impression that the plug in would delete old versions if the size got too big. But when I look at my account, every single backup seems to be there. I looked all over for some information on how to remove this old versions so that I can reduce my usage size, but so far I can’t find anything.

Can you just confirm that this is the problem and please let me know what I have to do to fix it? Thanks so much!

    Hi,

Very odd issue, not sure why it resolved itself! Hopefully it will be fine.

If you email support@backup-technology.co.uk your username for Online Backup Settings tab we can increase your quota.

It does remove old data but it won’t remove it until AFTER the backup completes, so you don’t lose any data. So you will actually go over your quota during backup and once it’s received all the new data, it will then remove data until below the quota again. So this is why those old versions still there – it’s not received the new one yet.

    Jason
