backup folder is writable but get error

    I have used this plugin several times with no issue but not this time. the backup folder is writable (777) but get error below.

    Could not create backup files. Please make sure the backup directory is writable. For further info, please refer to the documentation.

    I had my host verify the folders are writable. Any ideas of why I might be getting this error?

    Any help would be aprpeciated

    Did youever get an answer for this problem? I am stuck with the same issue!

    Unfortunately the plugin will not work on all servers. I ended up moving it by hand. I have had the same issue on other servers and then others it works great with no issues. Must be something in the server settings that block the use.

    I ended up using “WP Clone by WP Academy”! it worked perfectly!
