My site is here. (The landing screen is a maintenance mode, FYI, while I build out the site).

Two months ago, I set up DreamObjects and the backup plugin. I adjusted settings to back up monthly and then I did a Backup ASAP that worked (as I remember) pretty easily. That was January 27. The Backup page told me it would backup again on Feb. 27, but never did.

I went in today (March 4) and changed my settings to weekly (which changed “next scheduled backup” to tomorrow). I then prompted for an ASAP backup, set to begin at 11:31. Nothing has started, and the “You have an ad-hoc backup…” alert is still there, more than an hour later.

What’s wrong, and what can I do to back up my site?

    Thanks for your help!

I just reset settings and turned on logging.

After entering my keys and choosing the correct bucket, I set weekly backups again and prompted for an ASAP backup.

I’m stilling seeing the alert that my ad-hoc backup is scheduled for 11:31 am, but the log says this:

[2015/03/04 12:54:57] Scheduled weekly backup. Next backup: 7:00 pm
[2015/03/04 12:55:03] Scheduled ASAP backup in 60 seconds.

Nothing after the 12:55:03 log, though 2+ minutes have passed.

Looking at your site, your wp-content folder is 258M and you’re on a shared server. While the uploads folder is ONLY 50megs, it may be having an issue checking the drive.

Can you try doing an SQL only ad-hoc backup?

    Also:

Nothing has started, and the “You have an ad-hoc backup…” alert is still there, more than an hour later.

The alert doesn’t fade, but if you go to another page, it shouldn’t be there…
