Hello,

first of all thanks for this great plugin! Exactly what i was looking for.

I have just one question:

Is it possible to show the entry fields automatically as soon as the page loads? I dont want the user to click the “write a new entry” button.

Sorry if this sounds easy, but i am quite fresh to wordpress.

Hi, it has been asked before. I will add it to the FAQ.

You could add custom CSS to your website/theme like this:

body form#gwolle_gb_new_entry {
display: block;
}
body form#gwolle_gb_write_button {
display: none;
}

That should do the trick.

what was the shortcode to display just the entry form or just the guestbook?

Hi
I added the custom CSS to my child theme as you stated above, which works fine. However the “Write a new entry” button still displays.
Should the second line of script, ‘body form#gwolle_gb_write_button {
display: none;}’ not prevent this displaying?

Hi, you are correct, it is a div, not a form.

body div#gwolle_gb_write_button
