Automatic size reduction for uploaded files

    Hi all,

    Has anyone implemented a process to automatically reduce the file size of files (pictures in my case) when uploaded to a form? I have site where we ask users to upload 2-4 images for our support request. Our customers are often not technical and they simply take a pictures with their phone and upload. But those pictures are generally quite large and unnecessary for our needs.

    I don’t know that there is anything out there like this. I suppose you could hook it into WP Smush or perhaps have a script in the Contact Form 7 upload directory, using SIPS or other.

    So I’m just wondering if anyone else has solved this question?
