"automatic latest content" widget

    Hello,

    I am building a newsletter for my website and I would like one section of the newsletter to showcase the latest post – to which im using the “automatic latest content” widget.

    Additionally I would also like to have another section lower in the page, showing more articles that I’ve written in the past. Is there a way to do that with this plugin? I tried playing around with the features of the automatic latest content widget but I could not find a way to show the older posts.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    PS I love the flexibility to modify this newsletter plugin! It definitely stands out from the rest.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the kudos!

    Unfortunately there is no way to add more than one automatic content widget to a newsletter. However, you can manually add extra posts to a newsletter. Here’s how:

    1. Create a standard newsletter
    2. On step 2 of the designer, add the WordPress posts that you’d like to send via the WordPress Post widget
    3. Save the newsletter and go back to Step 1
    4. Change the newsletter to “Automatic”
    5. Go to Step 2 and add the Automatic Latest Content widget

    Does that make sense?
