Auto post blog from email

    Hi all,

    I have followed these instructions and can get everything to work.

    The issue I have is that posts remain in the status “pending” and do not publish automatically. In the documentation, it states that “By default, wp-mail.php will validate the sending email address against the email addresses for authorized users. If the email address is found, the post status will be ‘Published’, otherwise the status will be ‘Pending Review'”

    This is the issue that I have – where is that list of addresses for “authorized users”?? Is that the users in the wp_users table or am I completely wrong there?

    I’d guess that it is the email address listed in Your Profile.

    Thanks I guess it is – in the end I reinstalled WP, I had to do some weird things to get it working, it may be that its because I have 2 installs in the same hosted space but its fine now, thanks!
