You first have to hit “save attributes” before the update.
The free version doesn’t touch that area all actions are done on the attachments window.
Better check if it again…
Try deactivating other plugins leave just Woocommerce and SVI see if what you are reporting happens.
You are the first to report such case, and for that reason there must be some particular happening.

On my second test site i can apply the images to the variants but when selecting the variant on the product page i just see the main image, nut all images i uploaded into the gallery and assigned to the variant do not show up on the product page. I have no additional images at the bottom?
I have tried with different themes and deactivated other plugins.
I will try deactivating all other plugins and let you know, but the other issue of the additional images not showing on my second test site is still an issue too
The variation aditional images will not work with my plugin. I have no use for them. I use the product gallery and the images with assigns variations.
Im not on about the plugin of ‘variation aditional images’ i mean when i assign the images to a variant they do not all show on the product page when selecting the variable. I only see one image (probably the first one assigned’ which shows up as the main image…
So i have these setting in my product back end.
Green material image is against SLUG GREEN and one of the Puffin images is against SLUG GREEN
Camo material image is against SLUG CAMO and one of the Puffin images is against SLUG CAMO for testing
Now this is what i see on my product page when following the correct steps to set this up.

Did you activate the plugin under WooCommerce > SVI ?
There is something missing there…
In GLOBAL i have SVI enabled…

Activate is in Blue so i believe it is enabled

I am using premium version of YITH WooCommerce Color and Label Variations plugin.
but when i try to save my color attribute..it is not saving color attribute.When i select color type colorpicker..
For size it is working fine.
