Attach Media – Files Missing

I have uploaded videos through WP media manager. When I go to “Attach Media” not all the files are there. When I go to the gallery created, and scan gallery folder, no new videos are found; indeed there are no videos in the folder. I have been able to attach some of the videos, but not all.

Do I have to manually ftp the videos to get them to show rather than upload through the WP media manger?
