Article with a placement ad help needed

    I was contacted by this marketing agency to write an article to where I would then place a “click this” ad. I guess this is legal, but how much money can I ask from this? Can someone help me out? Advertising link is gambling related and it’s a “fixed yearly payment”.

    All help would be appreciated as this would be my first ad in my blog if I choose to accept it.

    Hey, I would let you know how I charge clients in general because there would be more times where you would be doing something for the first time and would have to give a quote quickly. Regularly I charge per hour (excluding research time) and multiply that by how much hours it took me. Concerning “fixed yearly payment”, you can add 50% on top of the cost and state that its (cost for booking & any unforeseen charges ). Hope This helps 🙂

    What’s your charge per hour rate, if I may ask? I’m really new to this whole advertising thing, so everything helps.

    well when it comes to physically doing work, I charge 30USD an hour and if they have a budget, I aim to work with it depending on how much business they bring. If you want you can go to elance.com create an account an explore different rates and etc 🙂

    My country’s freelance fees are a bit higher as we have higher taxes and all that. I’m still really unsure of what to do. I got some advice that I should probably take something like $100/month, so $1200/year as my site is not that big.

    I know some prices people get from ads, but the trafic is higher for them.

    Does this sound good?
